Joerg Freimund

During a 25-year career in investment banking, Joerg has completed a large number of assignments across Europe for a diverse range of multinational and mid-market corporations and private equity clients. He has further advised many of his clients on capital markets transactions such as initial public offerings, follow on offerings and rights issues. Over the last 10 years his client base has expanded with a strong focus in France and Germany.

Joerg joined Steen Associates in 2011 with the objective of strengthening the firm's presence in German and French-speaking countries.

Prior to joining Steen he was Head of Investment Banking Origination at leading European private banking group Sal. Oppenheim. From 1999-2007 Joerg was an M&A specialist at Société Générale, based in London, Paris and Frankfurt. During this time he led both Société Générale's automotive and electronics sector teams and the bank's investment banking activities in German-speaking countries. Joerg started his career in 1991 in corporate finance at BHF Bank, Frankfurt.

Joerg is approved by the FSA for the CF30 function.

Joerg is a German national and in addition to German he is fluent in English and French. He holds a degree in business administration from Goethe University Frankfurt.
